The problem

Regional beauty and cosmetics services are scattered across DMs, phone books, and one-off bookings. Customers struggle to find trusted providers nearby; providers and partners lack a shared place to manage demand. Upkeep needed one mobile platform that connects all three — customers, service providers, and partners — without turning every booking into a custom ops chore.

The solution

We built Upkeep as a beauty-care marketplace app for the region: discovery and booking for customers, provider-facing flows for services and availability, and partner touchpoints so the network can grow from one product surface. The UI stays mobile-first so bookings and day-of coordination happen on the phone people already carry.

Soft price context

Often $30K–$80K; multi-sided work can reach $80K–$200K+. Book https://calendly.com/xenonapps/30min.

Beauty marketplace complexity lives in role design: customer, provider, and partner cannot share one cluttered home screen.

Booking UX had to survive flaky connectivity and last-minute schedule changes common in regional service businesses.

Soft band typically mid-complexity; multi-sided growth features push higher.

Qualitative outcomes: discovery/booking in one app, shared platform for providers/partners.
